QuickPlan for macOS 1.3

  • Background Option
  • Command Key + Double click to collapse/expand selected group on Gantt Chart
  • Portrait orientation PDF page options
  • User interface enhancements and bug fixes
Background Option

According to the feedbacks, some users may like the user interface to be light, especially the background color. QuickPlan 1.3 provides a simple option to switch the background.

Collapse / Expand selected task group

Although it’s already very easy to collapse/expand task group, we still want to improve it, like this new way introduced by version 1.3: “Command Key” + “Double click” on task group block in Gantt Chart.

If no “Command key” be pressed, “double click” is to edit task in updating panel.

(And you should know how there are some other ways to collapse/expand task groups, if no, please check out quick start video, or contact us)

PDF page size options

QuickPlan 1.3 supports to provide more PDF page options – the pages in portrait orientation.

Additional suggestions:

On the macOS device, if no special needs, we suggest to export the project in PDF with auto page size, and then you set the printer option when printing PDF. macOS printing options provides options for printing, such as margin, rotating, zoom and etc. And if you have very special needs, for example to split them in multiple pages (multiple rows and multiple columns), you can find other app to do the work.

UI Enhancements and bug fixes

  • Decimal number inputting issue for some language regions ( for decimal separator like “,”)
  • Maximum window width adjusted, for the purpose to show two QuickPlan window at the screen together.
  • “Buddhist” calendar supporting issue fixed.
  • Resource be sorted by name in assignment window
